Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" and "doubles".
Players score points by hitting the shuttlecock over the net and landing it in their opponent's court, or by forcing the opponent to make an error.
A game is played to 21 points, with a 2-point advantage required to win a game, and a match is won by the first player to win two out of three games.
Junior national champions Sanskar Saraswat and Arsh Mohammad won the men's doubles crown in Bengaluru. M Raghu and Devika Sihag were crowned the men's and women's singles champions, respectively, at the senior National Badminton Championships 2024, which concluded in Bengaluru on Tuesday.
